GEI's staff is experienced in performing seismic risk analyses, dynamic response analyses of earth structures, soil-structure interaction studies, and developing site response spectra. Some typical projects have included the following:

• Studies of faults and related seismotechnics.
• Seismic risk analyses and development of earthquake ground motions for seismic design.
• Evaluation of seismic stability of slopes and embankments.
• Evaluation of the potential for soil liquefaction or seismic settlement.

Soil-structure interaction studies are performed to evaluate the dynamic response of structures to earthquake ground motions.
