GEI's staff has extensive experience in preparing geotechnical investigation reports for the construction of new school buildings as well as expansion of existing school buildings in southern California. GEI’s geotechnical engineers and geologists are very familiar with California Education Code provisions. GEI’s geologists and geotechnical engineers ensure that the seismic hazard evaluation for the school site is performed both in accordance with California Education Code provisions and Special Publication No. 117 entitled, “Seismic Hazards Mapping Act” published by the California Department of Conservation, Division of Mines and Geology in 1997.
