GEI has worked on numerous projects involving street and road design.  For roads, GEI provides recommendations related to subgrade preparation, pavement design, geotextile fabric, glass grid, overlay of conventional asphalt and rubber asphalt and full depth reclamation techniques.  Deflection tests are performed if the clients so require.  GEI works on these projects either directly for the Cities or as a subconsultant to civil engineering firms.
