Geo-Environmental, Inc. (GEI) founded in 1993, is a State of California certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Metropolitan Water District of Southern California certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firm for the States of California and Nevada (certified by Caltrans and NDOT respectively). In San Diego, GEI is a SCOOP certified firm with the San Diego County Water Authority. We provide a broad spectrum of geotechnical, geological, earthquake and environmental engineering and litigation support services, including soils and materials testing services for civil engineering projects during the planning, design, construction and maintenance phases.
The firm's civil and geotechnical engineers, geologists, and scientists are skilled in soil and rock mechanics, soil dynamics, soil-structure interaction, dam and reservoir design, soil liquefaction studies, foundation engineering, seismology, seismic risk evaluations, and geophysical surveys.
